I am Rolanda, an independent Hairstylist. I am renting a space on the premises of a Beauty & Aesthetics Salon. I have 10+ years behind the chair experience & I am only getting started.
I don’t have your typical Hairstylist persona as I am a professional yet calmer personality and a true perfectionist. I am detail-orientated and organized and I believe that’s what sets my work apart from other stylists. I am in control of my appointment scheduling and won’t let anyone leave my chair unless we are both 100% satisfied with my work. I hold myself to a VERY high standard and strive to improving my skills even more with continuous education.

All new clients wanting an appointment must inquire via Whatsapp or visit the website and fill in the pre-consultation form as detailed as possible. The pre-consultation form is quite extensive but it will make the back and forth messaging less. All other FAQ’s will also be available to make inquiries more convenient.
As we are an appointment-based salon, late arrivals of 15 minutes or more may not be accommodated or, your service will be shortened. In this case, the booked service cost will be charged.
Prices may vary from client to client based on specific hair service, hair density, length, thickness and condition (porosity) and product usage. Starting prices for Hair Services can be given however are to be used as a guideline only. To obtain an estimate price, please schedule a free 15 minute consultation.
Rolanda has created her own custom Hair Scrunchies in Bloemfontein, and it is available to order at anytime. Every 2/3 months we have a new design and we keep it on trend! Previous colours can be ordered again on request with the next collection order. Prices for Scrunchies start at R30.00.
BALAYAGES
Balayage allows for a sun-kissed natural looking hair colour, that allows for a softer, less noticeable re-growth. The main idea being less is more when creating a natural, multi-tonal finish.
FULL COLOUR
A Full Head of Colour is where one colour is applied all over the head from roots to tips, using permanent colour to cover grey or demi-permanent to change depth, tone and add shine to your hair.
HAIR EXTENSIONS
The perfect solution to get instant longer & beautiful hair without growing for years. A variety of Hair Extension types are available these days like Tape-ins, Handsewn Wefts, Clip-ins, Keratin Bonds and Taped Wefts.
HIGHLIGHTS
Highlights are a great way of brightening up your hair and lifting your natural base to create lightness and contrast. Highlights are simply strands of hair that are lighter than your natural hair colour.
OMBRÉ
This look is normally defined by hair that is darker at the Root area & blends into a lighter shade as it reaches the ends. It can be contrasting colours or very subtle/natural looking.
PRECISION CUTTING
This service is also known as a Hair Cut but the difference is it's attention to detail by creating precision lines. Each style can be customized to fit each client.
BRAZILIAN BLOWDRY SERVICES
This service is know for its remarkable results. It is a very intensive treatment that helps reduce frizz & smooths the hair cuticle for shinier, healthier & silkier hair.

Cancellations & Reschedules
All no-shows, cancellations and reschedules with less than 24 hours given notice of the appointment will be charged an additional fee and will be required to secure all future bookings with prepayment in full.
Booked services cannot be cancelled on arrival of appointment.
Appointments can be rescheduled up to 48h prior to the booked service, however booking fee is not transferrable to rescheduled appointment if less than 48h notice is given.
INVESTMENT
We provide professional colour results using the finest products available. All services has a 5-day guarantee if for some reason you are not satisfied, the service you received will be altered accordingly within limits only if the correct aftercare have been followed as mentioned below.

Wait 48 hrs before washing your hair at home. It is highly recommended to use any Professional Salon products, not store bought products.

Chlorine & hot water will fade out colour quicker.

Be sure to use a heat protector every time when heat styling your hair.

All colours fade over a period of time.

It is recommended to book a follow-up maintenance appointment for any colour service between 4 to 12 weeks after the 1st appointment.

Therefore, we are unable to guarantee lasting results unless you use the recommended home hair care advised to you at the time of your consultation or appointment.

After the online pre-consultation form is completed and all the necessary information is provided and we’ve determined that we can proceed with an appointment; you can request an appointment date/time via WhatsApp to the business number 071 673 4190 during Business Hours.
This means that I work for myself. I rent the space in the Salon and are responsible for managing my own appointments, payments, products, inquiries and working hours.
I’d recommend first following me on Instagram @hairby_rolanda and browse through my page to see if the work on there is similar to what you’d like to have done.
I am generally at the Salon from Tuesday’s to Friday’s 8h30 to 16h30 and Saturday’s 8h00 to 14h00; however I do work on appointment basis only thus my schedule for the day will depend on the services booked. First clients are taken at 8h30 and last may be taken at latest 14h30 (depending on the hair service).

Yes, you are welcome to bring your laptop with to catch up on work or a book for reading if you’d like. Refreshments like Coffee, Tea or Water will be offered; alternatively you can order something else from MrDelivery or Uber Eats.
Yes; I would suggest mentioning it asap when requesting for an appointment so we can align our schedules accordingly if it can be accommodated together.
Payments are done using my Yoco Card Machine; alternatively an EFT payment can be done after the service or cash (I don’t carry change).
